Grade 5 Jakarta International School Students Environmental Visit to Sekolah Alam Cikeas.

About a week ago, I volunteered myself to be a tour guide, not like my other six friends who were been chosen. Then, we stared to get a training to be tour guides by Mr. Fadil, who was my class room teacher when I was grade 2.

Three or five days after the training, the guests came. I was so nervous, because when they said Jakarta International School (JIS), I thought there were more Indonesian, but apparently all of them are foreigners, like Japaneses, Eropeans and Americans.

After introduction, we began the tour. First, I was nervous, but then I got an idea, why not make friend? When it’s time to make biopore hole, I started asking them where they came from, what their names, and I made friends with a Hungarian, Japanese, Canadian and American. Then, we’re not like ‘I don’t know you’, but we like friends.

I realize  that being a tour guide is fun and this tour guide is special.
